#7029 - Otoplasty
Details
21 year old lady who had become self conscious about the appearance of her ears over many years. The conchal bowl area was slightly too large and was pushing the ears out beyond the ideal aesthetic angle. The post-operative result shows a better ear position. The incision for the surgery is hidden in the crease behind the ear. A cartilage folding technique was used with the placement of Mustarde and Furnas concho-mastoid sutures. The helix is still visible in the upper part of the ear creating a very natural appearance. Results vary from person to person. Post-operative photos taken at approximately 12 months following surgery. Cosmetic surgery is a serious decision. More information about the risks and recovery of each procedure is available on our website. All surgery performed by Dr Jason Roth (MED0001185485), Otolaryngology head and neck surgeon, Sydney.
